We are pleased to welcome the newest members of the Vancouver Canucks Alumni Association. As our Alumni family continues to grow, we are proud to recognize individuals whose contributions to hockey, sport, and our community help strengthen the legacy of the Vancouver Canucks. We are excited to welcome Adrian Aucoin and David Cobb to the association.
Adrian Aucoin
A veteran of more than 1,100 NHL games, Adrian Aucoin enjoyed a distinguished 17-season professional career after being selected by the Vancouver Canucks in the 1992 NHL Draft.
During his seven seasons in Vancouver, he established himself as one of the league’s premier offensive defencemen, earning the Babe Pratt Trophy as the Canucks top defenceman in 1999.
Aucoin also represented Canada internationally, capturing Olympic silver at the 1994 Winter Games. Since retiring, he has remained actively involved in hockey and continues to give back to the game through mentorship and community initiatives.
David Cobb
David Cobb has played an influential role in the growth of professional sports in British Columbia through decades of executive leadership. During his 12 years with Orca Bay Sports & Entertainment, including serving as Chief Operating Officer, he helped oversee the business operations of the Vancouver Canucks and General Motors Place while contributing to the organization’s long-term success.
He later served as Executive Vice-President and Deputy CEO of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games before leading BC Hydro as President and CEO. His longstanding connection to the Canucks organization and commitment to the community make him a valued addition to the Vancouver Canucks Alumni.
Whether through excellence on the ice or leadership behind the scenes, Adrian and David have each made lasting contributions to the game and to the Vancouver sports community. We are proud to welcome them to the Vancouver Canucks Alumni Association and look forward to their continued involvement as we support hockey and give back to communities across British Columbia.
